PAVILION GENERAL USE BY MEMBERS
The pavilion and park area are for the private use of members (in good standing) of
the association and their guests only. We all must be proactive in policing our park
against use by those outside our neighborhood.

Use of gas or charcoal grills in the pavilion is prohibited. All such activity must be
done away from the building. Fireworks are also prohibited.

Due to varying weather conditions, fire pits or open bonfires are not allowed without
notification to and approval by the Board of Directors. The Board cannot grant
permission on any day designated as a no burn day by the Town of Hilton Head.

Each person is responsible, upon exiting, for removing any trash from pavilion and
bathrooms, for locking bathrooms and access gate.

Members are responsible for removing their pets droppings. Please be respectful
of your neighbors.

PARTY/FUNCTION WITH RESERVATION
All general use conditions apply, as well as the following additional stipulations:
  1. The member requesting said use must be in good standing
  2. Information regarding the event must be provided
  3. Hold Harmless Agreement must be signed. See left side of this web page
    to download. Please bring this with your deposit check.
  4. $100 refundable deposit is required at time of reservation
  5. Reservations can be made via email: secretary@pointcomfortpoa.com or by

All functions shall be private, and attendance should be at the express invitation of
the member. Political, commercial (for profit), fund-raising and publicly announced
events are not allowed.

Maximum occupancy is 80 people. Member must be in attendance.

AII parking for guests must be within the park. Open access to the ramp and dock
must be maintained at all times for use by any member during the event.

Staples, thumbtacks etc. used to display decorations must be removed.

Portable toilets and tents are not allowed. Picnic tables must remain in pavilion or
on deck.

Town of Hilton Head Noise Ordinance applies to all events, but consideration for
neighbors is encouraged regardless of the time of the event.
Reservations are taken based on your acceptance/compliance with the above
guidelines.

The Board of Directors reserves the right to grant discretionary exceptions. Please
contact the Board prior to making a reservation if you are requesting an exception or
variance.
